There are annual dues for Cub Scouts as well as uniform and handbook costs. *Camping trips and other outings have different costs and are always listed on the sign-up sheets.
-Pack 137 annual dues are $150. This pays for adventures for each den, food for gatherings (like s'mores!), badges, belt loops, and other miscellaneous expenses throughout the year.
-BSA annual dues are $25. This pays for your Scoutbook account and registration with Cradle of Liberty, our council.
-Uniform costs include the shirt, neckerchief, belt, and hat; if you buy these new the cost is around $100; however, we have a Pack 137 Uniform Closet where scouts who grow out of their uniforms or age out donate to the pack and anyone can use these pieces. Ask Mr. Simpson about the Uniform Closet if you are interested in seeing what it has to offer.
The Class B t-shirts are optional and usually cost around $25.
-The handbook each year costs around $15.
The dens in Cub Scouts are defined by grade level as follows:
Lion - Kindergarten
Tiger - First Grade
Wolf - Second Grade
Bear - Third Grade
WEBELOS - Fourth Grade
Arrow of Light - Fifth Grade
You can learn more about each den by emailing Cubmaster Simpson at simpsonjd1@hotmail.com (simpsonjd1@hotmail.com)or contacting the appropriate Den Leader (you can find them listed here).
