Scouting for Food 2021
ABOUT US
BSA Pack 137 serves the Lower Salford area of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Boys and girls from kindergarten to fifth grade are invited to join. We have scouts from local elementary schools including Vernfield, Salford Hills, Oak Ridge, West Broad, and Franconia. We follow the Souderton Area School District calendar and meet weekly during the school year. In addition to our regular pack meetings, Pack 137 goes on hikes and camping trips. We also take trips to local points of interest such as zoos, arboretums, battleships, etc. Annually we participate in the Cub-O-Ree in North Wales, PA. Our scouts are also invited to attend day camp at Musser Scout Reservation in the summer.
The Cub Scout program is centered around family and community. Pack 137 serves our community through activities such as stream and park cleanups and other service activities. We join BSA Troop 137 every year to clean up after the Harleysville Fair and fireworks. We also participate in as-needed projects such as collecting personal items for those in the Ukraine. Scouting for Food is our large community service project - each year we collect food items from our neighbors to stock the food pantry of Shepherd's Shelf in Harleysville, PA.
